A Discus is a type of Cichlid. The Cichlid family is a large group that share similar evolutionary development. Such as Angelfish, Oscars, Convict and many more fish that share a unique spawning behavior and high intellegence levels giving these fish personality. Discus are only found in South America. They are Amazonian fish which live in quite blackwater tributaries of the Amazon.They hide in roots and branches and are very territorial. Best fed on Aquaze Discus Food.
