Tetra von. Rio, or Flame Tetra. Origin Neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro. Size 1-2 inches. Appearance A short fish. Posterior half of the body and fins gleaming red.Behavior A hardy old favorite. Good community fish. Feeding Accepts all foods including dried foods. Water conditions Not critical. Sexing Males smaller, slimmer, and more colorful. Anal fin of male shows a black edge. Breeding Easy to breed, and will breed freely in most waters; 100 to 200 eggs laid, which hatch in 24 hours.Recommended feeding system Aquaze tropical .
